Expertise

Executive Education / The MBA Mind®

The MBA Mind® — graduate-level business education delivered to your leadership team, taught against your own numbers and decisions.

Overview

Most executives in owner-managed businesses were promoted for being excellent at something specific — selling, building, operating. Few have been taught to think about the whole business: how capital works, how a market is sized, how strategy and finance constrain one another.

The MBA Mind® is ChurchillTerry's answer to that gap. It takes the substance of a graduate business education and delivers it against your company's own numbers and decisions, to your leadership group, without anyone leaving the business for two years.

Engagement

Typical engagement models

  • Programme seriesA sequence of sessions for a leadership group over a defined period.
  • Single workshopA focused session on one topic, often alongside a retreat or planning cycle.
  • Owner and successor trackA tailored track for owners and the people being prepared to succeed them.

(Engagement scope, hours, and pricing are defined in the Statement of Work.)

Our approach

Our approach — three focused phases

  1. Phase 1

    Scope

Agree who attends, what they need to be able to do afterwards, and which decisions the programme should sharpen.

  2. Phase 2

    Teach

Deliver the sessions using your financials and your market, with work between sessions.

  3. Phase 3

    Apply

Put the group to work on a real decision and review how the thinking held up.

Fit

Who this is for

  • Leadership teams strong technically but thin on commercial and financial grounding.
  • Owners who want their managers arguing from evidence rather than instinct.
  • Successors and next-generation family members being prepared for ownership.
